Focus and scope of Journal

Ultimate Research Journal of Ayurved (U.R.J.A.) is an open access, peer reviewed, bi-annual online e- journal. 

This journal is introduced by Government Akhandanand Ayurved College, Ahmedabad as a part of its academic activities with a mission to

  • Provide free access to scientific literature of Ayurveda for quick dissemination of latest updates in AYUSH system of medicine and provide source of reference and retrieval free of cost.
  • To promote flawless, unbiased research information and data of Ayurveda, by maintaining at most transparency of publication.
  • Provide a strong platform to researchers, academicians, students and other stake holders of ayurveda to share their knowledge, innovation and thoughts leading to enrichment of Ayurvedic knowledge.

The Journal is dedicated to the publication of original articles on the utilization of knowledge of Ayurveda supplemented with various other allied sciences which is related to traditional AYUSH systems of medicines.

    The Journal covers a broad spectrum of Ayurvedic subjects covering all eight branches of Ayurveda and clinical research in Kayachikitsa (General Medicine), Shalya Tantra (Surgery),ShalakyaTantra (ENT and Ophthalmology), Stree Roga and Prasooti Tantra (Gynecology and Obstetrics), Kumar Bhrutya (Pediatrics),  Dravyaguna (Pharmacology), Rasashatra and Bhaishajya Kalpana ( Ayurvedic Pharmaceuticals’),  Literary research in Moulika siddhantha and Samhita ( Basic Principles) along with history of descriptions of herbal remedies, useful for the human diseases. It also deals with clinical and pharmacological evaluation of Herbs, Minerals, Metals and Animal products, Validations of food remedies, Photochemistry etc. 

Researchers may submit (1). Original Research Articles (2). Review articles (3). Book Reviews (4). Short Communications/ Research Letter (5). Case Report (6). Letter to the Editor/Correspondence etc to this journal.

The Editorial and Peer Review Process

The article submitted for publication in U.R.J.A journal first undergoes editorial review for scanning & assessment of standard of the article. The articles meeting the standards of the journal are forwarded by editor secretly to two subject experts for review and experts comments. The reviewer comments (if any) and suggestions (acceptance/ rejection/ amendments in manuscript) received from reviewers are again referred anonymously to the corresponding author for necessary modifications.  The Editorial Board again examines the modified article and conveys the publication status of the article. The whole process of submission of the manuscript to final decision and sending and receiving proofs is completed online.

 

Open Access Policy

All articles published by Ultimate Research Journal of Ayurved (U.R.J.A.) are made immediately available worldwide under an open access license. This means everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of all articles published in Ultimate Research Journal of Ayurved (U.R.J.A.) journal. Everyone is free to re-use the published material if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication is given.

Permissions

No special permission is required to reuse all or part of article published by Ultimate Research Journal of Ayurved (U.R.J.A.), including figures and tables. For articles published under an open access Creative Common CC BY license, any part of the article may be reused without permission provided that the original article is clearly cited. Reuse of an article does not imply endorsement by the authors or U.R.J.A. -  Ultimate Research Journal of Ayurved.

PLIAGARISM POLICY

Ultimate Research Journal of Ayurved (U.R.J.A.) states that Authors should ensure that submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere in any language, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Plagiarism occurs when someone steals and passes off the ideas or words of another as one's own or uses another's production without crediting the source. Duplicate publication, called self-plagiarism, occurs when an author reuses substantial parts of his or her own published work without providing the appropriate references. This can range from getting an identical paper published in multiple journals, to adding small amounts of new data to a previous paper.

Ultimate Research Journal of Ayurved (U.R.J.A.) editors will judge any case of plagiarism on its limits. If plagiarism is detected by an editorial board member, reviewer, or editor in any stage of the article process, before or after acceptance, we will alert the author(s) and ask them to rewrite the content or cite the appropriate references. If more than 30% of the paper is plagiarized, the article will be rejected, and the author will be notified. All the submitted manuscripts for publication are checked for plagiarism after submission and before starting the review process.
